- Ketaki Desai
Ketaki Desai works as a Special Projects Manager for the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh. After completing her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University and then a brief stint as a Postdoctoral Associate in California, she moved to Pittsburgh last year. She completely fell in love with the hills of Steeler country. Other than food, music, reading and dancing, she loves globetrotting and has backpacked several countries. Her biggest wish, however, is that she were a dolphin! |

- Preetham Gowda
Preetham graduated from Old Dominion University with a Masters in Computer Science. He currently works for Teletracking Technologies Inc . Hes been living in the Steel City for a little over three years and although he dreads the winters, has fallen in love with the city itself. He loves the pierogies and the Primanti sandwiches. Preetham likes to read, travel, hang out with friends, meet new people, watch football, play poker and do anything fun. This is his first time on the NetIP board and hes excited about what NetIP can do in 2010.

- Sahil Harlalka
Sahil graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors in Computer Science and also has an MBA from Robert Morris University. He works for Eaton Corporation and has been living in the U.S. since 2000. He's honored to be part of the NetIP board since 2008 and is looking forward to making 2010 an even more successful year for NetIP Pittsburgh. He enjoys meeting new people, traveling, swimming and loves playing tennis and poker.

- Ishi Ghosh
Ishi graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management & Organizational Behavior. She works as a HR Benefits Analyst at Liberty USA, Inc. Ishi is an avid reader who loves to learn languages and global cultures. She also loves meeting new people, traveling, cooking and being a die-hard Steelers fan. She is looking forward to her second year on the Pittsburgh Board with the 2010 team!

- Mangala Murthy
Mangala graduated from University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration with a Bachelor in Finance, Management of Information Systems, and Marketing. She currently works for Wilshire Associates as an Associate and Manager. Mangala is a Pittsburgh native, who loves this steel town and most of all the Steelers! Mangala loves to travel, explore new restaurants, cooking, and meeting people. Mangala is excited to get her second year started with some new and great event ideas for NetIP’s 2010 members!

- Morgan Austin
Morgan is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. He is an Oklahoma native who has now settled in the "burgh". Morgan is also known as Steven and sometimes Akash – long story! He enjoys eating Desi food, watching Steeler games, and playing Guitar Hero. He is excited to be a part of NetIP Pittsburgh and its 2010 board.

- Prachi Asher
Prachi moved to the Steel city in September 2008. She’s a biomedical engineer working for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Prachi’s recent mission is exploring and getting acquainted with her new home. She is meticulously working through a Pittsburgh essentials list of places and things to do in this fair city. She is excited to part of the 2010 NetIP board and looks forward to meeting Pittsburghers new and old.

- Kira Patel
Kira Patel graduated from the University of California, Riverside with degrees in Business Administration and Psychology and has recently relocated to the ‘Burgh to get her MBA at Carnegie Mellon University. She enjoys spending her “free” time volunteering with rescue animals (mostly canines), reading, exploring new activities in the city, and meeting tons of new people! Kira is also learning to be a great cook, so suggestions/recipes are welcomed! She is excited to be part of the 2010 board and looks forward to meeting you as a new or current member.

- Rupa Ramaswamy
Rupa was born and raised in Bangalore, India and she moved to US in 2002. She holds a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications from Bangalore University and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. She moved to Pittsburgh in 2006 and is working as Lead Programmer Analyst at University of Pittsburgh. She loves tennis and admires everything about Roger Federer. She also loves playing her regional games like Lagori, Kho-Kho. Her other interests are travelling, cooking, reading, singing, watching movies.

- Pradeep Modi
Pradeep came to the U. S. in 2006. He graduated with an MBA in Finance from Duquesne University, and since then he works for the UPMC Health Plan. Pradeep is a Cultural Ambassador for Duquesne University and is an active participant of Catholic Charities Free Health Care Center’s finance and board meetings. Born and raised in South Mumbai, Pradeep graduated with a Civil engineering degree and had established an export-based business, while in India. Pradeep enjoys visiting Broadway shows and Symphony recitals.
